A warm welcome to the new academic year!

TOPIC 

RAINFORESTS

We will learn all about the rainforests, the layers, indigenous tribes and the threats that the rainforest have and what we can do to help them. We will study Henri Rousseau’s art work and will be sewing some poison dart frogs! After the half term the children move onto the study of the Maya, learning about the society, rituals and the decline of the civilization. The children will create Mayan masks and artefacts with clay and recreate the Bonampak murals
