Spring Topics: Ancient Greece & Extreme Earth

Our Topic this half term is Ancient Greece. We will explore the important role the gods and goddesses of ancient Greece played in everyday life, from worshipping and festivals to helping explain natural events through the telling of myths. Following this, the children will be taken on an intriguing journey to the wilder side of the world as they learn about Extreme Earth. They will look at different aspects of physical geography from raging tropical storms to violent erupting volcanoes and terrifying towering tsunamis.  This will give the children the opportunities to discover how these extremes affect people, communities and landscapes.
